Who We Are

Stratum Modeling Group is a scientific and engineering software company located in Perm, Russia.

Group was founded in Perm State Technical University in 1989 with the express goal of developing highly intelligent and visual software development environments. Since then the group developed and in 1991 we created our first product - Stratum for DOS. That time the technology implemented in Stratum was unique - it was a first product in the world based on OOD (Object Oriented Development).

This program made an immediate commercial success which resulted in invitations to CeBIT exhibitions from 1992 to present day.

Two years after that we decided that a program product with a poor interface is nothing, and thus we have created a new version of Stratum - Stratum 2.0, which used the best Windows 3.1 could give a developer.

But the time is moving - so, in 1998, a brand new version of Stratum is on its way to conquering the computer world - Stratum 2000, version using the latest technologies that are supported under Windows 95/98/NT.

Our group consists of 10 extremely high-qualified specialists in computer science, who are proud to say that their great experience in modelling and object oriented development is unequalled in the world. It is a diversified team of IT professionals focused on software engineering excellence.
